Great location. The staff friendly and very helpful. The room and the hotel as whole was clean and tidy. Free, efficient internet. Basic but ,,all you need" breakfast. Good TV with many channels.I am from a large city & visit nyc often so I get small hotel rooms butI draw the line when there is no room for my luggage & I have to eat onmy bed. This just seemed smaller than similar boutique hotels at sameprice point.

Everything was perfectI felt that Hotel East Houston was a little lax on security. They saythat the doors are locked after 11pm but I found I could walk in fromthe street and head upstairs without anyone checking whether I was aguest. I would have felt more comfortable if I'd had peace of mindthat only guests were allowed up to the main floors.
