The room was simple but clean. We did not mind the public bathroom, it was clean and tidy. There was an opportunity to do laundry. Coffee and toast were available in the morning. The reception was open around the clock. Convenient location, close to the metro and bus stops. A shop is 50 metres from the hostel. The hostel is also close to a large, beautiful park. A good place for a city break.

Unpleasant experience. The more you spend the better they treat you. Bad attitude from staff. 300 dollar deposit that almost didnt give us back until we gave receipt. Restaurant has mediocre food and not open certain days. The gay guy with the tight muscle shirt was rude to us. Does not appear to like foreign women especially if you only stay one night. We showed up at 1:30pm. Told to come back at 2pm. Came after 2pm. They would not let us check in until after 3pm. Then seemed irritated and rude because we only stayed one night. No lift. Steep steps to carry suitcases. Gave us worst bed. He said, People who stay longer get better beds. Beds were hard. We had to take a nap and he turned off air condition on us. The room became hot. Then in the middle of the night they turned off air condition upstairs. The room and common area was so hot, and street noise woke us up. Shower flooded and no privacy as men were sitting on womens floor outside the showers and toilets. Sinks were filthy. Online there was availability and we were going to switch rooms, and he encouraged us to check out and lied said there was no availability. Street was so busy and noisy. Bad location. Worst experience in Bangkok.
