Only 500 metres from the seafront in the historic Sultanahmet district, Sunlight Hotel offers a terrace with panoramic views of Bosphorus and Ottoman style rooms equipped with modern amenities. Renovated in 2020, the property provides free Wi-Fi throughout the premises.
Air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Sunlight feature a TV with satellite channels and a minibar. Some rooms have views of Marmara Sea and Princes Islands. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
Traditional Turkish breakfast is served buffet style every morning. During summer, guests can enjoy their meals on the hotel’s terrace. There is also a lobby bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Located in the old part of the city, most historic places like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar are within walking distance. Cemberlitas Tram Station is 500 metres from the hotel. Shuttle services to Ataturk Airport, 17 km away, are provided upon request.

Гостиница Sunlight, Стамбул.
Эту гостиницу я выбрала по двум критериям: Расстояние до главной площади Султанахмет и цена. Мой выбор меня не разочаровал. Номера с видом на Босфор оборудованы стандартным набором – кондиционер, телевизор, холодильник, фен. Номер мне показался маленьким. Но случилось небольшое ЧП – сломался замок во входной двери. Сотрудники отеля отреагировали быстро. В течении 5 минут поломку устранить не удалось и мне предложили другой номер и тоже с видом на Босфор. Помогли перенести вещи и принесли свои извинения за неудобство. Второй номер оказался больше. На крыше есть терраса, где можно посидеть и заказать кофе из бара. Ресторан находится в нижнем этаже. Завтрак был стандартным европейским. Общаясь с соотечественниками, проживающими в других отелях, я сделала вывод, что во многих отелях панорамные рестораны на крыше или хотя бы смотровая площадка. Wi-Fi бесплатный. На ресепшен можно заказать любую экскурсию или купить билет на одно из многочисленных вечерних представлений в Стамбуле.
