The Rindali Guest House is situated on the island of Maaenboodhoo within the Dhaalu Atoll, the central atoll of the Maldives. The Rindali Guest House is approximately 178.8 kilometers from Velana International Airport. Due to its distance from Velana International Airport and the capital city of the Maldives, the Rindali Guest House offers limited transportation options.
The Rindali Guest House does not provide its own transportation services. However, we are available to assist you in arranging transfers from Male to Maaenboodhoo Island via public speedboat ferry or domestic flight. To make the necessary arrangements and confirm the schedule of the speedboat transfer, kindly contact us in advance.

OPTION 1: SPEEDBOAT TRANSFER: (3 HOURS 30 MINUTES BY SPEEDBOAT FERRY)

A speedboat ferry operates both ways on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The ferry departs from Male’s south harbor at 11:30 a.m. and costs $50 per person one way. The ferry journey takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach the destination. The ferry departs from Maaenboodhoo to Male at 06:30 a.m. This ferry is operated by a third party. The schedule is as follows:

ARRIVAL SPEED BOAT FERRY SCHEDULE:
- Sunday: No ferry service.
- Monday: Ferry departs from Male South Harbour to Rindali at 11:30 a.m.
- Tuesday: No ferry service.
- Wednesday: No ferry service.
- Thursday: Ferry departs from Male South Harbour to Rindali at 11:30 a.m.
- Friday: No ferry service.
- Saturday: Ferry departs from Male South Harbour to Rindali at 11:30 a.m.

DEPARTURE SPEED BOAT FERRY SCHEDULE:
- Sunday: No ferry service.
- Monday: Ferry departs from Male South Harbour to Rindali at 6:30 a.m.
- Tuesday: No ferry service.
- Wednesday: No ferry service.
- Thursday: Ferry departs from Male South Harbour to Rindali at 6:30 a.m.

Kindly note that guests who are arriving via international flights should land at least two hours before the departure time to catch the speedboat.

OPTION 2: DOMESTIC FLIGHT TRANSFER (33 MINUTES FLIGHT + 10 MINUTES BY SPEED BOAT)

We are delighted to offer a convenient and efficient travel option for those of you who wish to take a short flight (33 mins) to the nearest domestic airport (Dhaalu Airport, also known as Kudahuvadhoo Airport) and then continue your journey to Maaenboodhoo via speedboat (10 mins). Our team is prepared to aid you in booking the flight and coordinating the speedboat transfer, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. Booking flight tickets through us will result in a cost of around $160 per person/one way, as the airline has given us a special rate. You can hire a speedboat that can accommodate 6 people for $35.

PAYMENT FOR SPEED BOAT / DOMESTIC FLIGHT TICKETS:

Should you select speedboat ferry as the transfer option, and the number of guests is between 1 and 2, we can process payment for the ferry ticket and book the ticket. The guest can remit the payment upon their arrival at our hotel. However, if the group exceeds this limit, we require advance payment to secure the ferry ticket, as the ferry operator does not offer credit sales. If you prefer to make payment via credit card, we can provide you with an online link from our mPOS machine, which you can utilize to complete the payment online using a credit card. If you opt for a domestic flight as your preferred transfer option, it is imperative to make the payment in advance to secure your flight ticket, as the airline do not offer credit sales. If you opt to make payment via credit card a 3.5% bank charge will be applied to every credit card payment.

CHOOSING YOUR INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL FLIGHT:

Due to the limited frequency of speedboat ferry services, it is crucial to select your international arrival flight accordingly. If you wish to opt for the speedboat transfer option, we recommend choosing an international arrival flight that arrives before 9:30 a.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If you arrive on any other date in the Maldives and still need to choose the speedboat transfer option to arrive at our hotel, you will be required to remain in Male until the next ferry operating day. Thus, if you arrive in Maldives on any Sunday, Wednesday, or Friday, we suggest you stay that night in Male. The following day, you can catch the ferry departing to Rindali at 11:30 a.m.

STAY DURATION:

Given the distance from Male and the limited transfer options, we strongly advise against selecting our hotel for shorter stays. Optimal stay durations are recommended to be between 5 and 10 days.is a beach on the island that is dedicated to tourists and offers the opportunity to wear bikinis.
