We only stayed over night after a wedding elsewhere, but the member of staff on reception was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating!!The room was very nice and the check in and out times were very handy!!Would definitely stay there again just for the night away from the kids with my husband!!Would recommend it!!Bar staff were obviously new and (apart from the bar manager) didn'tknow very much, confusing brandy and bourbon, and asking whether a PinotGrigio Blush was red or white wine. Having said that, they were cheerfuland courteous.

Amazing breakfast!! Friendly, helpful staff, and super comfy bed. Glad we weren't put in a room by the generator though, as the noise was horrendous.The tap water runs grey and then clears after a time.I complained, but advised this is normal.Sorry but I travel all over the UK, If tap water does not run clear then there is a problem.I used botteled water all the time in the hotel.

We spent one night in this hotel. Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was very good and really set us up for the day. Everything was perfect!Best I could find for the money.

Excellent location if you need to break a journey on the m3. Clean, wellappointed room. Friendly staff. Offers value for money when dining inthe evening. Other reviews have been critical of the breakfast service,but we had no problems.Our ony sugestion would be some assistance for guests with heavysuitcases up the stairs to the suite.

Good location shops restaurants, east access to motorway network.Outdated decor. Very very poor noise insulation between rooms andfloors. Unappealing mould around windows and bath. Blind in bathroomfell off wall. Tiles coming off walls. Breakfast shambolic. Stafffriendly but seemed amateurish. First morning we could have waked in offthe sweet as non paying guests and gone again without paying as we wereignored by the staff. We arrived for breakfast at 8.30am to find that wehad to ask for the orange juice, the milk,and the bread to bereplenished. Tables not cleared quickly enough as staff appeared toobusy to help. Asked for two soft-boiled eggs only to receive two hardboiled eggs. The staff pleasantly replaced the eggs with two more, whichwere also hard! The same thing happened the following morning eventhough we were assured that a different chef was on duty. Very poor!Could not even serve them in proper egg cups. Would never stay at thehotel again unless were were assured of improvements. The staff werevery pleasant though!

I thought the attached pub was good with reasonably priced meals and the breakfast was excellent with a great choice.Breakfast at 8 o'clock on Sunday morning. That's too late
