The location, excellent for walking around the city.The staff, friendly and helpful.Some parts a little scruffy, but what can you expect at this price and level.

The staff were extremely nice and the security is good. It felt like a safe place and the location is excellent. It's okay as a place to sleep when you know you're not going to be spending much time there except at night.Luckily it was cool during my stay, I hate to be in the rooms in the middle of summer with only a fan and no air conditioning.

It is very near from places on interest and I like the concept of thorough checking of keys to avoid outsiders coming in. There is a sense of security.As can be expected in backpackers, the bed wasn't the mostcomfortable and it was a little inconvenient trying to get up on the topbunk without a ladder of any sort. Ladies toilet and showers could havebeen cleaner but that is also up to the guests to use the facilities.

I like the room that I got. It was a single room, clean and quite far from the crowd as I was in need of quiet night.Nothing too much. Its what you pay what you get.

The maze has single rooms but they are getting expensiveI left my bag overnight in the luggage room when I checked out. I wouldhave picked it up that afternoon but couldnt. I asked the reception whatwould have happened if I came back in a month they said my luggage wouldbe thrown in the bin. I said that wasnt the correct way to deal withlost property. Terrible. What if someone was in hospital or something.

Best kitchen facilities we've seen in a bpThere are few bad points i going to tell, the room had a bad smell, and the lock isnot properly install or it is spoiled, toilets are not clean, by the way one last thing i going to complaint it was very noisy in the outside area especially weekend nights which made me cant sleep well, I know this issue is not related to it, but definitely not recommending to other travellers.

Big kitchen, lots of pots, pans and plates. Always had something on in the evening, including free booze or a free meal. Staff were very helpful.Cleaning staff weren't very friendly. First room we or smelt of sick, but got upgraded and that didn't smell. Bathrooms were a bit shabby, but not horrific.

My stay was . Absolutely brilliant . I loved the people and thesocial part of the hotel . All facilities allow u a chance to meetother travellers and socialise. The staff were absolutely brilliantand über friendly . There were plenty free five aways and funparty's to join . So over all I enjoyed my stay thoroughly !!!Thank you guys u were awesome !!!The hostel, especially the shower/toilets were absolutely disgusting, and not kept clean at all. There was a cleaning rota on the door, that remained unsigned for the 5 nights we stayed. I would never expect a 5* hotel from a hostel, but cleanliness is a must.

What you pay for, is what you get. The room very basic with a bed and chair but clean and their is free food options plus cooking facilities. What you get is a basic room located in the middle of Sydney, so location is great. Ideal for backpacker putting them in the heart of Sydney. A little noisy, but you can't complain, its a backpacker hostel.

Staff were amazing - Aimee was so helpful and friendly - she absolutelymade our stay at maze fantastic! All the staff were extremely helpfuland friendly - we had to most interaction with Aimee and loved her top-notch customer service skills. We were two mature sisters who are youngat heart and she made us feel like we were 'one of the gang' -our age did not matter. :-) The convenience of the location is second tonone. Kitchen facilities were outstanding - very clean and very well-organised. We felt safe in the premises which was very important. Thenoise levels we experienced were well below what I expected.we werepleasantly surprised.Room hygiene & linen.

My room was quiet. Very clean and comfortable bed. Great staff.The only part I was not happy about is the fact that visitors were notallowed in after hours which pissed me off particularly during theMardigras fest as I booked my own room so that if I had company I wouldhave the luxury of a free room with no interruptions all night . And Iwas unable to do that which defeated the purpose!!! And I also was a bitannoyed at the check out time 10:30am particularly on the day after theMardigras . Considering most people got back round 8:30am anyway .So I feel that that was not considered and needed to be changed duringthat time of the year during the Mardigras !!!!

The staff was nice, friendly and helpful.My internet service fees was refunded to me when I complained about the poor internet service.My room had a choky smell and I coughed throghout the night. The fan was dusty and dirty. The internet service was very slow and I could chat on skype.
