Everyone was more than helpful and pleasant. Have stayed with you before and keep coming back for this reason, and will be back in the future. Had a fantastic weekend!!Price but what can you do.

The location is excellent with the harbour views, the harbour bridge and opera house, museums, park so close. The historic building is wonderful. The staff were very professional and helpful. The food at cafe opera and breakfast was delicious and fresh, varied and abundant. The service was very high quality.That I couldn't stay longer

Lovely hotel, great location. All very niceThe delay at breakfast before tea and coffee was served. This happenedalmost every time we ordered tea or coffee. Twice out of 4 days we leftbefore the coffee arrived because it had taken so long.

Everyone from start to finish during our stay was polite, helpful, accommodating, friendly and courteous.Waited 3 hours for our room to be ready - then told to enjoy drinks fortwo hours in club intercontinental only to be told the desk staff forgotto let them know up stairs so management came up and embarressed us sowe left , later they told us we were right and said a gift was in ourroom but when we got there it wasnt - had to call and then finally came, we got a late checkout but it left a bitter taste on a weekend away

We were delighted by our reception from the Hospitality Manager as this was a special trip for my wife's 60th birthday.We appreciated the complimentary wine.We thought the venue for the coffee lounge a beautiful adaption of a historic building.We were very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of theconcierge staff.

Location, breakfast (quality and variety), comfort, helpful staff, cleanliness, interior decoration in the old part of the building. All in all, this is a wonderful hotel where we would like to return to.No dislike

The beds, towels,room setup, window in the bathroom, breakfast. Monthlyspecials (eg french champagne offer), all the staff, absolute value formoney, hairdresser, high teaThey trick you. I made reservation for a smoking room. Without previous info, also at check-inn they put a card in thev key-card telling that they were proud of offering o non-smokink hotel. My first bad expireince with intercontinal hotels.

Checking staff were so accommodating, my daughter was flying back to theuk in the evening and even though we had an checked out they were sohelpful allowing her to shower and freshen up before she left. Veryfriendly and a great team. Had a great stay - too short !!!Unfortunately, although I found the staff friendly, but service veryslow from the point of arrival,through to house keeping and restaurant.Quite disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Size of the rooms, view from the room, cleanliness. Each day my room was cleaned to the highest levels I have ever experienced. Location was great and nothing was too much for the friendly staff, who preempted my needs when possible.Felt we had paid for two nights top dollar but got put by the lifts withmediocre view of amp building on 28th floor so bit disappointed as itwas special occasion our 30th wedding anniversary could not complain asstaff acknowledged this on check in.so why room beside lifts?
