Dating back to 1871, this charming hotel is located right in Madrid’s historic, central district Barrio de Las Letras, the most vibrant and fun area of the city.
The Persal is sited on the pedestrianised Plaza del Angel, just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, and the Royal Palace and only 150 m from Puerta del Sol and the Sol metro station, which offers a direct connection to Barajas Airport and Atocha train station. In front of the hostel and in the adjoining Plaza de Santa Ana, you will enjoy, day and night, the best places for tapas, cocktails, lunch and dinner on terraces and dancing.
All 80 rooms have a desk, free safe, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer.
The Persal offers 24-hour reception, free luggage storage, a large library where you can relax and connect to the free high-speed Wi-Fi, 3 rooms for meetings and business events and quality, affordable buffet breakfast.

Our priority is to provide you with a hassle-free stay with us, which includes our convenient express check-in and check-out services. In our hotel we offer daily cleaning services for guests who would like their rooms to be freshly prepared. From top to bottom, you can be absolutely sure that every time you stay your room will look like new! At the facility, we understand how important your pet is to you and how difficult it can be when you have to travel without him. We would welcome them to the Guest house Hostal Persal, but unfortunately pets are not allowed here for health and safety reasons. This applies to all types of animals, such as cats, dogs and birds. Even if your pet is kind, we can't make an exception. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this policy may cause, as we know it must be hard for you to be separated from your beloved companion! However, there are many wonderful pet sitters in our area who will treat your pet as one of their own while you're away, giving you peace of mind and allowing him to enjoy a cozy stay away from home. As much as we would love for all our guests to bring their furry friends, unfortunately the accommodation is not pet friendly at the moment. We appreciate your understanding on this issue and hope that you will continue to consider us the perfect place for your next getaway!
