Nestled in the scenic Scottish countryside just three miles from Dunblane, this historic mansion is located in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and landscaped garden grounds with its own chapel, loch, tennis and pickleball courts. Cromlix offers 16 bedrooms plus a Gate Lodge, The Glasshouse Restaurant & Bar and several beautiful private dining & meeting rooms.

Cromlix reimagines what a country house hotel can be with an exquisite, contemporary style and a refreshingly relaxed vibe. Discover the charm, spontaneity and serendipity that can happen when elegance is undone.

The creative force behind the hotel is Andy’s wife Kim who takes an active role in shaping the Cromlix experience. The interiors are alive with the vibrant colours of nature, verdant greenery and botanical flourishes and filled with contemporary art and imaginative moments. Inspiration has been drawn from the naturally peaceful setting and sprinkled over with a little fun and a generous helping of drama. From the upholstery to the fresh florals, from the artwork to the lettering on the menu, each detail has been carefully, personally, curated – with a strong preference given to local Scottish artisans, suppliers, and designers.
Cromlix delivers a fresh, natural, fun and effortless take on the quintessential country house experience, where the mood is relaxed, guests can unwind, be themselves and enjoy a characteristically welcoming stay. Quality is intrinsic to the hotel’s approach, from the carefully sourced local produce in the restaurant to the finesse with which it’s served. Renowned for impeccable service and attention to detail, but there’s no need to stand on ceremony or make a fuss. Engaging but unobtrusive, the team are always on the lookout for ways to craft special moments.

On-site activities include lots of lovely walks and trails, archery, falconry, garden games and in-room spa treatments which can also be booked in advance. Guests can also enjoy The Billiards Room with its gorgeous mix of emerald and floral colours.
