The owner was very nice and hospitable, he gave us information on what to see and where it is best to walk, close to the places where you could eat. Excellent location, in the old part of Matera, around there are many restaurants and bars. It was clean and tidy and there was everything you needed. The bedroom in a niche carved into the rock made an unforgettable impression on us.

No electric kettle, water for tea had to be boiled in a pot..
