The townhouse can accommodate 4-6 guests (including children) comfortably. Bedding will be provided depending on the number of guests.


— Smoking Policy —

The property is non-smoking. As this is a wooden building, any form of open flame—including e-cigarettes—is strictly prohibited. Smoking at the entrance or on nearby streets is also prohibited as it violates Osaka City Law.
Smoking may incur an additional night’s fee as compensation for the next guest.


— Care notice for Interior Items —

This Machiya is furnished with custom-made pieces by local artisans. Many of these items are expensive and require long lead times to replace. We kindly ask you to take great care of the interior during your stay, especially if you are staying with children.
In case of any damage, we will charge repair or replacement costs accordingly.


— Neighborly Consideration —

This property is located on a quiet, residential Japanese street. After 10:00 p.m., we kindly ask you avoid disturbing neighbors—for example, by using the washing machine late at night, running or speaking loudly. If a complaint is received and not resolved, police mediation may occur.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding.


— Mind the Beam—

Due to the original structure of this townhouse, some beams above the staircase are really low. We’ve placed clear signage, but please mind your head and take care as you go up and down.


— It’s Imperfect —

This is an 80-year-old townhouse. While we’ve renovated completely, it doesn’t have the flawless finish of a hotel. But it’s precisely these small imperfections that allow the passage of time to linger—giving the space its unique and quiet charm.


— Limited Soundproof —

As this is a renovated traditional house, sound insulation is limited. Thank you for your understanding. If you’d like, we can provide disposable earplugs—just let us know in advance.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
