This Villa includes air-conditioning, a private bathroom and a balcony.
- Day 1 includes Houeixai – Pakbeng (Lunch/Dinner). You will board the traditional slow boat for the cruise down river to the river town of Pakbeng. The journey may take up to 8 hours as it includes stops, visiting villages along the way. You will stop at some Hmong, Yao and Khmu ethnic minority villages and have the opportunity to observe their traditional lifestyle. Arriving at Pakbeng late afternoon you will check in to your beautiful villa at Le Grand and enjoy a few drinks watching the sunset over the mountains and the Mekong.
- Day 2 includes Pakbeng – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang (Breakfast/Lunch) You will visit local markets and enjoy the range of local produce from scorpions, snakes, fishes, frogs on sticks, buffalo skin and varied of organic vegetables from the local hill tribe village’s farm. You then continue downstream past areas of un-spoilt forest with little villages along the riverbanks and perhaps the odd elephant. You will visit a Hmong village and have the opportunity to explore the village and visit Pak-Ou Caves, an ancient pilgrimage site containing thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.
Arriving in Luang Prabang by sunset, you will then be sent to your pick up point at boat landing.

- Day 1 includes Luang Prabang – Pakbeng (Lunch/Dinner). Guide and driver transfer you to the boat pier. Mekong Cruiser leaves Luang Prabang at 08:00 for a cruise up the Mekong to Pakbeng. A continental breakfast is served while the boat is cruising to Pak Ou Village, at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you will visit Tam Thing Caves of a Thousand Buddha. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board then stop at a hill tribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao whiskey production. Arrive at Pakbeng around sunset and check-in at Luang Say Lodge. Dinner is served on the terrace overlooking the Mekong.
- Day 2 is from Pakbeng – Houay Xay (Breakfast/Lunch) At 07:00, board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. En route one stop is made to observe rural life along the Mekong and minorities. Buffet lunch on board and then continue to Houei Say where you will arrive around 17:00 (you may proceed to Chiang Rai on the same day.)
